CHAIN has no accounts and no sign-up. There is nothing to log in to, so there is no profile to build.

What the game stores

Your progress — which chains you've closed, the words you've placed, your streak and your light or dark preference — is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and we could not read it if we wanted to. Clearing your browser data clears it, and it does not follow you to another device or another browser.

We do not ask for your name, your email address or your location, and we run no analytics.

Advertising

This site is free and is paid for by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdSense, a third party we do not control.

Google and its partners use cookies and similar device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and in some regions to personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other sites. This is Google's processing, under Google's policies, not ours.
